X2O Platform Integrates With Cisco Interactive Experience Platform to Enhance Content Delivery and Collaboration
MONTREAL — June 4, 2015 — X2O Media, a Barco company, today announced its plans to showcase its award-winning X2O software platform at Cisco Live 2015. Being held in San Diego, Calif. from June 7-11, Cisco’s premier education and training destination for worldwide IT professionals provides a wide range of in-person events, live webcasts, and on-demand learning opportunities. By integrating with the Cisco Interactive Experience Platform (IEP), the X2O platform offers users the ability to quickly create and deliver interactive visual solutions. The X2O platform also integrates with a wide range of internal and external data sources, including those generated by the Internet of Everything (IoE), yielding truly innovative, networked visual deployments.
“Cisco Live lets us exhibit first-hand how our award-winning X2O platform can leverage Cisco’s collaborative technology,” said David Wilkins, President of X2O Media, a Barco company. “By seamlessly integrating with the Cisco Interactive Experience Platform, customers can design captivating digital media content and deliver engaging interactive experiences to digital displays with the Cisco IEC 4600 Series media player as well as to other screens such as desktop PCs, tablets, and smartphones. We look forward to demonstrating our platform’s versatility at the show.”
Designed to deliver real-time visual communications to the right audience, at the right time, on the right device, the HTML5-based X2O platform transforms visual communications by providing users with incredibly easy drag-and-drop tools to facilitate the creation of dynamic visual channels. Similar to miniature TV networks, channel-based communications let any environment turn data linked to internal and external sources such as SharePoint®, SAP, and social media into content-led experiences that are interactive, targeted, and highly engaging for viewers.
