X2O Media (pronounced ex-two-oh media) is a full-service provider of technology and services for digital signage, as well as creative design services for broadcast graphics and other types of digital content. The company offers content design, management, distribution, monitoring, integration, and support services for digital signage providers. X2O’s award-winning Xpresenter provides unprecedented ease of use coupled with the highest-quality output at a fraction of the time and cost of higher-end solutions. X2O was launched by the founders of VertigoXmedia, Inc., an innovator in the field of broadcast graphics, following VertigoXmedia’s acquisition by Miranda Technologies.
X2O Media’s products and services have been used for many high-end projects in digital signage and corporate communications. Recent examples include:
- Airplay America's digital video/audio narrowcast network known as "The Salon Channel" is an ad-sponsored music and infotainment marketing platform currently being installed at more than 2,500 Great Clips hair salon locations throughout the United States. Installation is scheduled for completion by 2009.
- NASDAQ monitor wall consisting of 18 high-resolution screens capable of displaying contiguous graphics and animations updated from real-time data. Installed at NASDAQ’s Time Square studio in New York, and used for CNN’s 2004 election night broadcast.
- ClearChannel / CBC NewsExpress airport news network, managed from downtown Toronto and broadcast throughout the Toronto and Ottawa airport terminals.
- Citigroup/Restaurant Associates cafeteria menu board and employee communication system, including multiple screens located throughout Citigroup’s cafeteria in downtown Manhattan.
- Montreal Canadiens / Bell Canada Arena interactive hockey experience, consisting of interactive screens allowing users in private suites to create custom camera views, watch instant replays, and browse real-time statistics during live hockey games.
- Television Suisse Romande digital signage system, displaying continuous news graphics and video for visitors to TSR’s Geneva headquarters.
- Home Depot employee communications system, providing broadcast-quality video and real-time information to employees at each of The Home Depot’s 1600 stores across North America
