Xscheduler is the primary tool used for creating playback schedules for the Xpresenter Player. Creating a schedule simply involves dragging a PowerPoint presentation onto the active schedule and assigning a playback start time. Schedule times can be assigned to each presentation, as well as to individual slides within a presentation. The scheduling tool also allows nested loops, so certain segments of the playlist can be set to loop continuously until the offset for the next item outside the loop is reached.
Schedules can also include control events, such as starting a crawling ticker on the output screen. This allows users in the central location to schedule any kind of control event for any player, simply by dragging the appropriate event in the schedule. Completed schedules can be assigned to any player using the Remote Management tools.
Depending on specific requirements, the Xscheduler user interface can be customized to address any particular customer’s needs. This can include different views of schedule information designed to make creating and maintaining schedules simpler and more efficient.
