The Year in Review

2015 was a year of tremendous progress and change at X2O. We witnessed the continued rise of a unified digital workplace whereby companies and their employees are becoming ever more digitized and seamlessly connected, enabling a higher level of workplace engagement, productivity, and satisfaction. Technology has a crucial role in enabling companies to collaborate anywhere, and on a variety of devices, with tablets and mobile phones becoming virtual office appendages.

Earlier this year, X2O announced how it planned to blend people, the organization, and software tools with the X2O Digital Workplace. It consists of 4 pillars of interconnectivity between the enterprise and its workforce, each providing software solutions created specifically for these areas. They are: the X2O Desktop, the Connected Workspace, the Connected Workplace, and the Connected Workforce. These new easy-to-use tools enable faster communications on any device, provide real-time information via dashboards linked to real-time data, and ultimately lead to better decision-making at all levels in the enterprise.

To showcase these solutions, X2O attended several trade shows that focused on enterprise communications, such as Enterprise Connect, the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit, Gartner ITExpo, and InfoComm, in Orlando, the HR Leaders Summit, in Toronto, and Cisco Live!, in San Diego. At SPTechCon SharePoint Technology Conference in Boston, X2O highlighted how the platform can easily pull from and display content within SharePoint.

Exemplifying its flexible nature, the X2O platform was used to drive several high-profile projects and deployments throughout 2015. Among them were the Cisco Toronto Clock, an instrumental part in counting down the seconds to the opening of the 2015 Pan Am Games, Toronto’s Union Pearson Express Train Service, Lockheed Martin’s Velocity News Network, and Northern Trust’s employee and customer communications. Several of these projects went on to win industry awards including a 2015 Commercial Integrator Best Award for X2O.Join.

So what is X2O.Join? The X2O.Join X2O Desktop, lets every screen in your organization becomes part of the real-time X2O visual communications network. This means any content can be shared with any user instantly. From company news and announcements to real-time interactive dashboards showing key business metrics, X2O.Join gets the right information to the right users at the right time.

Finally, our brand new website was launched in September which features a streamlined interface, responsive browser experience, larger and more detailed visuals, and a host of other improvements to help highlight all the amazing things that happened in 2015.

Coming up in 2016, keep an eye out for our announcements in the Digital Workplace!
