AV Technology Magazine Announces 2011 End-User Award Winners and Tech Manager Scholarship

First Annual Awards Program Recognizes Innovations that Specifically Benefit End-Users, Technology Managers, and Facility Directors

June 15, 2011 – The winners of the first annual 2011 AV Technology End-User Awards and Scholarship have been announced.

Margot Douaihy, AVT managing editor, states: “Our mission at AV Technology magazine is singular: to build community in the AV and IT Industries and create a forum for end-users to share best practices. Critical to AV Technology’s mission is empowering technology managers and IT directors in all commercial sectors–higher education, government, hospitality, and the corporate environment. We created the 2011 AVT End-User Awards and Scholarship to actualize this goal. We created this scholarship to support dedicated AV end-users as they advance to the next level of their career.”
