Featuring high-definition, bi-directional audio/visual communication, interactive whiteboards, presentation monitors with content sharing and a suite of integrated collaboration tools - the X2O Virtual Classroom is designed to facilitate interaction between instructors and participants. Remote participants also benefit from an engaging immersive environment with multiple camera views, including their unique perspective view camera.

With the X2O Virtual Classroom, remote participants are immersed in the class and feel involved with an assigned seat and individual presence in the room. With dedicated high-definition cameras, each remote participant has their own unique view of the physical room just like being there. With directional audio, instructors can create better engagement by picking-up on the participant’s visual cues and direct conversations with individual participants.


The X2O Virtual Classroom uses features such as a Confidence Monitor and whiteboard helping the instructor to control each session and share content. Directional audio, hand raise feature, polls and break-out groups provide the cues and feedback that are invaluable to an instructor.


X2O Virtual Classroom sessions are private and secure with end-to-end encryption ensuring a secure process with no plug-ins required. All participants receive a unique and confidential login to join a session and are visible to the instructor in real-time alongside the physical classroom. The solution can support more than 120 active participants at one time with additional observing seats if required.


The X2O Virtual Classroom, with its intuitive UI, is easily accessible using a standard laptop with camera, internet connection and headset. There is no additional software to download and students can access through a Chrome web browser. Persistent sessions also help support both students and teachers as content is accessible even once a class is over, along with a recording function to playback the session if required.

Higher Education

X2O Media worked with a renowned Ivy League Business School to deliver a state-of-the-art virtual classroom for in-room and distance learning students. The custom classroom includes a high-resolution video wall that mimics the amphitheater-style seating of a university classroom – where up to 60 remote students are displayed on individual life-sized screens simultaneously. All remote students have their own perspective camera and speaker which allows them to speak directly to in-room faculty and their peers.


X2O Media have worked with Coca Cola to transform their corporate employee learning center into a digital classroom for team collaboration. Virtual participants may interact with instructors and in-room participants via large format displays which each feature a dedicated speaker and camera to facilitate active participation in the training session.
